Class of 1973 Event September 18th 8:00pm EDT

Dr. Toby Cosgrove, Williams ’62, will be the presenter at our Zoom Seminar in September. Dr Cosgrove is a very distinguished cardiac surgeon and the long-time president and CEO of the Cleveland Clinic. He has kindly agreed to discuss the world of healthcare with a focus on the situation as it relates to classmates of our generation. Gordon Earle, class of ’75, will be the moderator of the session.

The Class of ’73 would like to invite the classes of ’71, ’72, ’74, ’75 to a ZOOM discussion with one of the foremost people in the world of health care, Dr. Toby Cosgrove, ’62,  at 8:00 PM Eastern, September 18th. Gordon Earle, ’75 will serve as the moderator.

Delos Marshall "Toby" Cosgrove is an American Vietnam War veteran and former heart surgeon. He served as the president and chief executive of the Cleveland Clinic from 2004 until 2017.

In recognition of his numerous exceptional contributions to medicine, Dr. Cosgrove was elected to the Institute of Medicine (IOM) in 2013. Election to the IOM is considered one of the highest honors in the fields of health and medicine and recognizes individuals who have demonstrated outstanding professional achievement and commitment to service.
